Benefits from good ideas turn into successful projects on the path to more conscious forms of collaboration in projects.
About the Work
The two Australians, Vivienne Elanta and John Croft, developed Dragon Dreaming within the framework of the Gaia Foundation in Australia, which supports eco-social community projects. Dragon Dreaming is an approach and methodology for integral, holistic planning and implementation of projects in organizations of all kinds. Since the 1980s, more and more organizations and self-organized projects worldwide have been using Dragon Dreaming to: develop a vision that inspires and includes everyone, collectively determine strategies and goals, dynamically and creatively manage task, time, resource, and budget planning, establish a feedback and learning culture, agilely and collectively steer project implementation, and keep an eye on individuals, communities, stakeholders, and the environment alike. Dragon Dreaming promotes sustainability and peace in the world through new and more conscious forms of collaboration and project organization. Practically, it helps to end self-exploitation, burnout, bureaucracy, destructive power structures, and the exploitation of natural resources. The methods foster aspects such as collective intelligence, co-creative leadership skills, emancipation and equality, creativity, intuition, and playful joy in shared responsibility, leading to new, agile, collaborative working methods.
This four-color, landscape-format book introduces the fundamental principles of Dragon Dreaming. It includes over 50 methods and 20 best practices from fantastic trainers around the world.
Target Audience
In addition to social movements, collective enterprises, cooperatives, and non-profit organizations, the authors also observe a growing demand among start-ups, co-working spaces, incubators, community platforms, and network organizations.
