Summertime. But everyday political life in the Berlin Chancellery is cold and heartless. A bored speechwriter surfs the Internet and meets Frau Male there. The affair is anonymous and uninhibited. But the heat also produces other strange blossoms: the group Cookie & Co passes the time with virtual games that seem increasingly concrete and dangerous. The chancellor is also bored - even though elections are coming up and there are serious indications from the intelligence services of possible terrorist attacks on high-ranking German politicians. Nevertheless, some cabinet members are planning a trip to Switzerland at short notice. To catch her breath, the Chancellor joins this group of travellers, who want to take the famous cable car up to the Säntis to discuss the tense relationship with members of the Swiss government in a friendly meeting.
