The busant

Busant is the name of a rich homesick Solothurn resident whose money is being used to "beautify" (and make uninhabitable) Solothurn's old town. But Busant is also the name of the bird that triggered the medieval story of the beautiful Magelone and Count Peter of Provence, the story of a lifelong love and quest. And the beautiful Magelone is not only a king's daughter from faraway Naples, but also an eternally drunken secretary or serving daughter from present-day Solothurn ...
