Technophoria

In Toronto, Cohn is supposed to build a smart city and gets into a lot of trouble with the neighbors, who sabotage the project by any means necessary. Things get even worse in Japan, where the man from whom he wanted to order an army of helpful robots has disappeared. The trail leads Cohn to Africa, where the gorillas sit on those mountains under which the raw materials for chips and batteries are stored. In the end, he finds himself broken in an American server farm that stores all the messages and thoughts of our present. "Technophoria" tells of the familiar and the world as we know it, and of the barely imaginable new that already defines our present.
