The digitalisation of most industries is reflected in the growing share of software in overall value creation. This opens up new opportunities for technological innovations for companies. At the same time, however, they are faced with the constant challenge of translating these innovations into products that create value for the customer. A number of methods for product and business model innovation have already been dedicated to this problem, but the transfer of the knowledge gained here into concrete product design remains a challenge.

This is precisely where this work comes in by proposing the methodological employees &bdquo,Value Proposition Deployment&ldquo, with which companies can develop new value propositions on the basis of technological innovations. To this end, Value Proposition Deployment combines insights from innovation management with methods of constructive quality assurance and thus represents a bridge between innovation and quality management. The method developed on the basis of 15 practice-relevant design requirements is explained in detail and described using practical case studies.
