Technische Mechanik 3

The volume Kinetics is the third part of the four-volume textbook series. The bestseller on technical mechanics is now in its 16th edition. The aim of this didactically sophisticated work is to convey an understanding of the essential basic laws of mechanics and to develop the ability to formulate and independently solve engineering problems with the aid of mechanics. We have chosen the simplest possible approach to mechanics. The material presented is based on the scope of mechanics courses at German-speaking universities and is ideally suited for all Bachelor's, Master's and Diploma degree programmes.

The book contains numerous fully calculated examples which the reader can use to practise applying the basic laws.

Volume 1 deals with statics, volume 2 with elastostatics and volume 4 with hydromechanics, higher mechanics and numerical methods. The textbooks are supplemented by carefully coordinated volumes of exercises.

Due to its great success, the textbook series has also been published in English as the three-volume work "Engineering Mechanics".
