Product details
The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry is one of the most translated literary works in the world. After its publication in 1943, it was translated into over 300 languages by 2018. Thus, it was only a matter of time before it would also be available in Klingon. For the 75th anniversary of the work, the time has finally come! This famous story has been translated through years of meticulous work by Klingon expert Lieven L. Litaer, who has gained experience in various types of translation projects. In this project, it was deliberately decided not to relocate the setting to a Klingon environment. Instead, the translation stays very close to the original and serves as reading material for students and experts of Klingon. On the occasion of the translation of The Little Prince, Marc Okrand, the creator of Klingon, had the opportunity to engage with the project.
