The Construction Table Book contains the necessary information and connections for all professions and training levels in the construction industry. It supports the realization of the learning objectives outlined in the federal framework plans, training regulations, and the curricula of the states.

The content and structure of the Table Book are aligned with the teaching materials from the Handwerk und Technik publishing house but can also be used independently of these. The formal design and the focus on essential content achieve a high level of clarity. The appropriate preparation of technical texts and tables allows for use outside of the classroom as well.

The new edition takes into account the current developments in technology and standardization. This has led to an expansion of four pages. The following updates are included:
• Changes and additions arose from the revision of DIN 1045 (Structures made of concrete, reinforced concrete, and prestressed concrete). In this context, the work has been expanded by three pages (BBQ classes).

• Numerous other changes and additions resulted from the revision of DIN 1356-1 (Construction drawings – Basic rules of representation).

• The topics of cement with recycled materials, recycled aggregates, as well as minimum content of cement and fine aggregate have been thoroughly revised.

• The content related to the GEG (Building Energy Act) has been updated.

• Additionally, the consistency classes of concrete, the labeling of ready-mixed concrete, conformity control, and fire protection (classification of building materials) have been revised.

• The exposure classes of concrete and the curing classes have been completely overhauled.
