Systemisches Handwerk

Those who work systemically will, over time, find their tools of the trade to suit them. Sometimes a manual is certainly necessary, in which one can look up, depending on the context and who one is dealing with. Such a toolbox is especially useful for those who are learning the systemic craft or are in their first years of apprenticeship. The two authors, experienced as trainers, consultants, therapists and supervisors, guide step by step through the phases of systemic work: observing, gathering and documenting information, clarifying assignments, forming hypotheses, defining goals; planning and implementing measures. The systemic approach is presented so concretely that it can be applied directly. Numerous case studies illustrate the implementation in the various fields of psychosocial work. Short sketches of the theoretical background complete the presentation of the respective "tool". The described procedure is not committed to any systemic direction, but imparts valuable know-how for all fields of work and professions across all schools.
