Systemische Traumapädagogik

The effects of trauma and violence are long-lasting and far-reaching. How can traumatized children and adolescents manage to anchor themselves in life despite their often painful experiences? In educational and counseling work, professionals encounter the long-term consequences of trauma and violence in various ways. The concept of "Systemic Trauma Pedagogy" proposes a systemic framework for understanding traumatic processes. For this purpose, Renate Jegodtka and Peter Luitjens combine systemic model assumptions with knowledge from psychotraumatology. The repertoire of systemic practice methods is adapted to the requirements of trauma-sensitive pedagogy and is expanded to include the approach of trauma-sensitive yoga. The working methods presented in the book offer a variety of practical, tested suggestions for a systemically grounded trauma work. Trauma-sensitive systemic interventions are introduced.
