Synthese käfigartiger 1,2,3-Triazole via regioselektiver Cycloaddition

The present work describes the synthesis of various polyalkyne as well as some polyazide compounds as possible reactants for the formation of cage-like structures by copper(I)-catalyzed 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition reactions. By selective reaction of these reactants with each other, a series of triazole-containing macrocycles as well as a highly symmetric cage compound with three 1,4-bridged 1,2,3-triazole rings each could be prepared and characterized. Numerous factors influencing the corresponding reactions were investigated; the structural elucidation of the products - in particular by NMR spectroscopy - was also discussed in detail.
