Product details
The aim of this work is to present the state of scientific examination of operational risks through a literature analysis. The first main focus is to highlight the fundamental ideas behind current risk mitigation measures. This is followed by the principles of internal risk controlling within banks. The second main part addresses regulatory requirements, particularly regarding the treatment of operational risks. The third main chapter discusses internal risk management within banks. In this context, a three-stage model consisting of identification, measurement, and management is described. In recent years, a variety of methods have been developed for the identification and measurement of operational risks. This work presents the most commonly used methods.
