Suzume 01

Seventeen-year-old Suzume leads a quiet life on the island of Kyushu. That is until the day she meets a young man who tells her he is "looking for a door." Suzume follows him to a ruin in the mountains and actually comes across a mysterious, freestanding door. Driven by an invisible force, she reaches for the handle, inadvertently plunging all of Japan into chaos. Across the country, more doors open, releasing destructive forces. To avert disaster, she has only one chance: she must close the doors again.
