Bono - artist, activist, and lead singer of the Irish rock band U2 - presents his comprehensive autobiography titled Surrender.

Surrender is a literary memoir in the tradition of great Irish storytellers. After seven years of work, it has become a fascinating, detailed story about his family, religion, and his life as an artist, musician, and activist. The subtitle "40 Songs, One Story" refers to the 40 chapters of the book, each titled after a U2 song. Bono has created a drawing for each chapter.

Bono on Surrender: "When I started writing this book, I hoped to capture more accurately what I had only sketched in my songs so far. The people, places, and opportunities in my life. The word 'surrender' holds great significance for me. Because it wasn't something I was born with when I grew up in Ireland in the 70s, musically speaking, with my fists raised.
