The workbook "Writing and Reading" gently introduces the acquisition of written language. A highly reduced vocabulary has been selected for the presentation of letters, which is initially introduced and used in a communicative context. Thematic blocks include: Colors (letters: Ll, Aa, Ii, Rr, Ss, Oo, Tt), Animals (letters: Mm, Ee, Dd, Ff, Nn, Gg, Vv), Vehicles (letters: Uu, Bb, Au, au, Hh, Xx), Food and Drink (letters: Ei ei, Sch sch, Kk, ch, Ww, Öö, Ää, Zz, ie), Clothing (letters: Pp, Jj, ck, Yy, Üü, tz), School Supplies (letters: St st, Cc, Eu eu, Sp sp, Qu qu), Numbers (1-12). The concept of the series includes notes for teachers in the workbooks, with solutions available for download. Writing tasks are presented in Swiss German basic script. Nouns are consistently provided with their articles and are marked with a colored dot in the overall material of the teaching series. Common color coding for parts of speech. Symbols are used to indicate task requirements. Technical terms correspond to the terminology from the Lehrplan 21. Suitable for: Primary level from the end of the 1st cycle, for both DaZ classes and DaZ learners in regular instruction.
