Supply Chain Balanced Scorecard

There is widespread agreement in business management literature on the advantages of cross-company supply chain management. Nevertheless, implementation in corporate practice is rather sluggish. One reason for this is the lack of instruments that make the success of cross-company investments and optimizations transparent for the companies involved. By integrating the concepts of supply chain management and the balanced scorecard, Klaus Zimmermann shows how the balanced scorecard can be used to manage value chains in a goal-oriented manner. Based on requirements for controlling value chains, existing supply chain controlling instruments are evaluated.
