Superspreader - Popkultur und mediale Diskurse im Angesicht der Pandemie

Arno Görgen, a cultural historian, is the co-lead of the SNF Sinergia project "Confoederatio Ludens: Swiss History of Games, Play and Game Design 1968-2000" at the Bern University of the Arts. His research focuses on pop cultural representations of illness, health, and medicine, the medicalization of digital games, as well as systems theory and the history of ideas. Tobias Eichinger is a research associate and teaching coordinator at the Institute for Biomedical Ethics and History of Medicine at the University of Zurich. His research interests center on ethical questions related to the identity of medicine, the concept of health, as well as issues of ethics education in medicine and the relationship between film and medicine. Eugen Pfister is a historian and political scientist and leads the SNF Sinergia research project "Confoederatio Ludens: Swiss History of Games, Play and Game Design 1968-2000" at the Bern University of the Arts. He earned his doctorate on the history of political communication, is a founding member of the working group "History and Digital Games," and teaches and researches the history within and of digital games.
