Der Büsser

"Chance" is not a kosher word. Joseph Shapiro lives with his wife Celia as a wealthy businessman in New York. Encouraged by his surroundings, he is tempted into erotic adventures and eventually has a mistress who drains his finances along with her daughter. At some point, he begins to doubt; his life seems increasingly mindless and empty. In search of the right path, he leaves the women behind and emigrates to Israel, where he wants to start a new life as a "penitent." However, right at the beginning of the journey, it becomes clear that it is not easy to change his life overnight.
