From the outside, Berlin, when well-lit and with a cinematic flair, sometimes resembles New York a bit. However, when viewed from further within, the ensemble—Potsplatz or not—still tends strongly towards the biotopic. Because this has its merits, Thomas Gross's texts avoid the frontal and the total.
