Mysterious and precious: The life and healing knowledge of 21 herbal women. For centuries, the knowledge of the healing powers of nature has been in the hands of herbal women, who preserve and nurture it with care. To this day, we draw from the wealth of experience of these herbal women and use medicinal herbs for health and beauty. In this book, 21 women from all over South Tyrol share their life stories and provide insight into their world, where herbs and the mindful handling of traditional knowledge hold an important place, some for the first time. We meet, for example, Josefa Grass, the heir to ancient herbal knowledge.
