However, the opinions and assumptions of the sufferers themselves, who live with the disorder on a daily basis, are still given too little attention. On the one hand, this book enlightens us in a theoretical part about the complex pathology of bulimia nervosa, on the other hand, it lets us look deep into the minds of the protagonists of this book, young South and North Tyrolean women, who suffered from bulimia nervosa for years.
