The Swabian inspector Horst "Hotte" Meyer on vacation at Lake Constance and that too without wife Claudia. That can't go well! And indeed: Horst's friend from old inspector training days, Thomas Grundler, who had invited him to a diving trip to the "Jura" sunken in Lake Constance, dies during the underwater excursion. Initially, the cause of death is completely unclear, but soon comes the terrible realization: this was no accident, this was a cleverly contrived, ice-cold murder. Inspector Horst Meyer takes up the chase around Lake Constance. And more than once the hunter becomes the hunted.
