Product details

The dark moorland landscape of Yorkshire at the beginning of the 19th century: The landowner's daughter Catherine and her stepbrother, the impoverished foundling Heathcliff, have been close friends for a long time and have fallen in love with each other. However, Catherine marries the son of a wealthy neighbor, and a disappointed Heathcliff leaves the estate of Wuthering Heights. A few years later, he returns as a wealthy man. Once again, the love between the young woman and Heathcliff awakens, escalating into a frenzy that breaks all boundaries and inevitably leads to madness and death.
