In part 2 of the studies, further facets of physical education inside and outside of school are discussed from different perspectives. This concerns the claim to enable safe swimming as a goal and indispensable component of basic school education, as well as the promotion of children's independence, sovereignty and physical activity.This also applies to the promotion of children's and young people's competence and sovereignty (resilience) in the context of the ever-present use of power and resilience-building in the processes of school-based physical education and in junior competitive sport. Timeless challenges of a profession-related teacher and trainer education are discussed using different models of the relationship between science and professionalism in different phases of the professional career. The epilogue concludes the studies on physical education and movement education with a summary of experiences and a few thoughts based on texts and conversations with a 90-year-old school sports methodologist.
