Product details
In the context of investigating the phenomenon of flooding in Tunisia and its frequency, particularly in urban areas, this book analyzes the process and the general mechanism of runoff and flooding in cities. Another focus is on the natural and anthropogenic factors that promote runoff in the Essijoumi watershed, as well as the estimation of runoff coefficients using the Soil Conservation Service method. An effort was made to identify the hazard, vulnerability, and flood risk in the studied watershed. Finally, some proposals and development solutions for flood protection were suggested.
