Strategische Sozialplanung: Kooperation und Vernetzung als zentrale Voraussetzungen

Municipalities are faced with challenges in designing a needs-based and as seamless as possible social infrastructure. To combat poverty, social exclusion, and increasing segregation, the focus is on localized municipal social policy and holistic, integrated action strategies. Strategic integrated social planning serves as support to shape social policy governance in municipalities accordingly. It enables municipalities to develop strategies tailored to the needs of the local population and to align the service structure at the social space level. In strategic social planning processes, social infrastructure is analyzed at a local level, needs and service structures are identified, social offerings and services are planned, implemented based on that, and subsequently evaluated. An impact-oriented, spatially-focused, networked, and participatory approach forms the foundation, with cooperation and networking at the core of the process.
