For more than three decades, the Department of Private Law of the Faculty of Law of the University of Fribourg has organized the Road Traffic Law Conference. According to a proven Fribourg tradition, this conference is held in German and French. The contributions of the German-language conference of 21 June 2018 are compiled in the present conference proceedings. The conference dealt in particular with the problem of liability collisions in road accidents involving (partially) autonomous vehicles; the liability of the motor vehicle owner for administrative fines; and the partial revision of the Insurance Contract Act. These contributions are supplemented by the presentation (partially annotated) of a large number of recent federal court decisions on road traffic law in the areas of criminal, administrative, liability and insurance law. The contributions were written (in alphabetical order) by: Vincent Brulhart, Andrea Eisner-Kiefer, Piotr Gotowko, Marcel Niggli, Stefan Maeder, Fabia Nyffeler, Thomas Probst, Christof Riedo, Andreas Roth, Arnold F. Rusch and Andreas Stöckli.
