Experience Focussed Counselling (EFC) is a psychosocial counseling approach developed by Prof. Dr. Romme and Dr. Escher at Maastricht University. The phenomenon of hearing voices has been depathologized - the experiential knowledge of those affected has created a new access to the voices and a constructive way of dealing with them.
