Stimmen im Park

An elegant mother with her anxious son, a slightly resigned unemployed father, and his daughter with the aptly named Sunshine are walking in the park. The adults sit silently on the same bench while the children play together. Then everyone goes home. From this everyday fabric, Anthony Browne composes his fascinating picture book. The same scene is told from the perspectives of four different people. Identical events lead to completely different stories. The images reflect the emotional world of each narrator, and our viewpoint shifts according to their moods.
