Bear and Mouse are best friends. However, one beautiful day, they have a terrible fight. Out of sheer anger, because the Bear has simply stormed home, the Mouse sends word that she never wants to see him again. But the message, which was supposed to be delivered to the Bear's cave on the mountaintop, comes through quite differently than planned, whispered and murmured along the way. What a stroke of luck for Mouse and Bear! In the meantime, the quarreling friends feel terribly sorry and miss each other very much. Nothing stands in the way of reconciliation now. Those familiar with the game 'Chinese Whispers' can already guess that not everything goes according to plan in this story. Yet sometimes it is good when fate—or, as in this case, a garbled, twisted message—intervenes. Rebekka Stelbrink has created colorful, delicate collages of the forest inhabitants with brush, scissors, and paper, allowing us to dive into three-dimensional worlds based on Andrea Tuschka's story.
