Product details

Pause. Breathe. Enjoy. Find beauty in silence. The beautiful just around the next corner. By lakes, rivers, and streams. In forests and moorlands. In mountains and valleys. And in the silence, it unfolds in all its splendor. Like the first volume of "Quiet Places in Switzerland," this follow-up work by "Schweizer Familie" journalist and photographer Heinz Storrer is a subtle plea to listen to the silence and rediscover our country.

Heinz Storrer (born 1954) studied German and English literature as well as philosophy, has always been involved with photography, and has been writing and photographing as a journalist focusing on culture and travel for thirty years. He has been working at "Schweizer Familie" for two decades. The Zurich native, with roots in Schaffhausen and Central Switzerland, lives near Zurich.
