Stereoselektive Synthese

The dissertation describes the establishment of efficient synthesis routes from racemic and achiral compounds to pharmaceutically relevant and optically pure intermediates. Within this study, both the enzymatic racemate cleavage of amines using lipase B from Candida antarctica (CAL-B) and the biocatalytic aldol reaction of aromatic aldehydes to -hydroxy- -amino acids using an L-threoninaldolase (L-TA) from Saccharomyces cerevisiae were investigated in detail and optimized.
