On the winter solstice, Linda and Wolf, along with four friends, establish the Ring of Isais. The Illuminati member Becker informs Wolf about the activation of the mountain, which also requires a female component. Wolf and Linda visit a base of the General in a distant past. At Obersalzberg, they enter an underground laboratory of the Third Reich. They discover from old documents of a well-known author that mysterious passages might exist from the Untersberg to places that are both temporally and spatially distant. With Claudia, Wolf flies to an island in the Adriatic and discovers a crystal of the Ordo Bucintoro there.
