Statistisches Jahrbuch der Schweiz 2014 Annuaire statistique de la Suisse 2014

The 121st volume of the Statistical Yearbook of Switzerland will be published in 2014. The flagship publication of the Swiss Federal Statistical Office, rich in tradition, once again offers an up-to-date statistical overview of 21 topics (from population to labor, prices, industry and services, health to education and crime), in German/French throughout as well as with an overview chapter each in English and in Italian. Summary and commentary texts, explanatory glossaries, many graphics and a rich data section provide an overview and in-depth coverage of each topic. This year, the map appendix is dedicated to the latest results of the area statistics of Switzerland. Twenty pages of full-page maps show selected aspects of land use change from 1985 to 2009. This provides a view over a longer period of time of important developments in land use in Switzerland.
