How can pupils be inspired for the subject history and the contents of the lessons not only be conveyed in a purely cognitive way? How do you motivate each individual student even in very heterogeneous learning groups? The answer: by learning at stations. This teaching method enables all students to learn independently, self-determined and cooperative. This volume for the 7th/8th grade first explains the method and the practical implementation in class. In the following practical part the four topics "Crusades", "Historical upheavals around 1500", "Industrialization" and "The social question" are prepared for the students. The students are introduced to the respective topics at six to eight compulsory stations and various additional stations. Creative text work, a product-oriented approach and numerous opportunities for internal differentiation are used.
