Standpunkte der Ethik - the standard textbook for ethics teaching in the upper secondary school - is now available in an updated new edition. The volume offers both classical and contemporary material on the essential questions and positions of philosophical and applied ethics. As in previous editions of the work, all relevant basic texts of the subject are included in the textbook. They have been selected and edited so that they are accessible to today's generation of students. The chapters on the individual subject areas are structured systematically and transparently and are interlinked by frequent cross-references. The diverse and varied tasks are formulated with the help of appropriate operators. Each chapter begins with an introductory double page and ends with a double page summarising what has been learned and offering opportunities for further learning.
