Product details

On 1 January 2007, the general revision of the Swiss Penal Code came into force. This booklet seeks to explain, in a simple and visual form, the law on sanctions as amended in its entirety, as well as the provisions relating to the execution of penalties and private liberty measures. These provisions now form part of federal law. The idea behind this little book is to make this new law, which is still obscure and often not very comprehensible, accessible by means of schemas and tables.

The work is based on a course script, expanded and adapted to the new knowledge on the revised law. Following numerous requests, this document is now available in a printed color format. It is addressed to all interested parties who wish to access the new law in a simple, rapid, and comprehensible manner, particularly students and practitioners. It serves as an introduction and a brief overview, which can be used as a pedagogical tool and compendium, suitable for repetitions.

An Italian edition is planned for July 2007.
