Product details

Research has so far paid little attention to Eugen Hubers' work as a judge. This is set to change here: The present volume serves as the vanguard, presenting the well-founded civil law judgments from the years 1881 and 1882, in which Eugen Hubers participated, to a broader audience.

On March 14, 1881, the Grand Council of the Canton of Basel-Stadt elected Mr. Prof. Dr. Eugen Hubers as a civil judge. And on December 5, 1882, the Justice Department of Basel-Stadt announced that it had the honor of informing that he had been appointed as a member of the Notary Examination Commission in the current session.

Eugen Hubers takes his judicial duties very seriously—alongside his responsibilities at the University of Basel—allowing him to test theory in practice and strengthen his ability to distinguish the essential from the non-essential.
