Post-war settlements offer large areas of open space due to their urban composition, which can seemingly be easily built upon. At the same time, these settlements and neighborhoods are valuable witnesses of history, and any densification should always take the overall composition of the sites into account. This workbook now provides planners and conservationists, as well as municipalities, city administrations, cooperatives, builders, and property owners, with a comprehensive guide that enables the preservation of the qualities of post-war settlements during densification. In addition to examining the built environment, landscape planning and garden conservation aspects are also considered.
