Spuk in Hooksiel

In the tranquil town of Hooksiel on the North Sea, very little has changed since the former police superintendent Stefan Schrader from Hamburg arrived with his sailboat "Udel" last year. Together with his new partner Helene, he is planning an extended sailing trip through the East Frisian Wadden Sea and Holland's canals for the coming summer. But Helene, a former art history student, accidentally discovers something unusual, even unbelievable, on an ancient photograph. Is it connected to the strange happenings at the moated castle of Hechthausen over a hundred years ago? Everything takes an unexpected turn when strangers interfere. A dramatic race against time begins. And ignoring the old Frisian lore turns out to be a fatal mistake. The hardened ex-cop Schrader has to experience this first hand.
