With the renaissance of rail transport, the specialized field of rail vehicle dynamics has gained significance. The first book in the German-speaking world that focuses on this topic is expected to attract considerable interest. Although it is based on the lecture on rail vehicle dynamics at TU Berlin and requires prior knowledge in mechanics, vibration theory, and applied mathematics, it is also aimed at practitioners.
