Street art has long since conquered the public space of cities, becoming relevant both socially and aesthetically. In a cultural anthropological exploration, Claudia Willms investigates how subculture became a commodity within the realm of commercial art. With the postmodern turn, the relationship between subculture and mainstream also changed.
