Sprachtraining für Fachunterricht und Beruf

The aim of this volume is to promote language skills among young people with a migration background during their transition from school to work. The first part contains informational materials for educators and training materials for learners across three areas of learning: accessing professional information sources, decoding technical texts, and understanding terms and structures. The second part provides didactic and methodological planning aids, focusing on simplifying technical texts and offering methodological guidance for working with technical texts in the classroom. The third part addresses the specific linguistic challenges faced by the target group and outlines the support approach of the language training materials. The fourth part serves as a systematic section on the grammatical and technical language foundations of the training materials. The training materials in this volume are supplemented by interactive and multimedia elements.
