Sprachkompetenz durch Erzähltheater - Kamishibai

Kamishibai is a Japanese wooden storytelling theater where picture stories are presented. The theater atmosphere captures the audience's attention effectively. In Europe, Kamishibai is particularly used for language education and by storytellers. This book introduces the technique of Kreashibai (a developed and distributed advancement by the publisher) and exemplifies ways to use it in teaching. Self-developed picture panels based on Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale "The Ugly Duckling" serve as the foundation for a teaching series for elementary schools.
