The Earth is plagued by a series of unexplained events that occur every day at exactly 1:13 PM.

September 21, 1:13 PM: The space shuttle Atlantis disappears from the control screens during its final flight.

September 22, 1:13 PM: All the clocks on the planet stop. At that very moment, the Antikythera mechanism of a strange astrolabe, which no scientist has been able to activate until now, starts to work.

September 23, 1:13 PM: The space shuttle Atlantis reappears and lands in Cape Canaveral. On board is only one survivor, the mission commander, among the dismembered bodies of his crew.

September 24, 1:13 PM: An American submarine locates a German military submarine that disappeared sixty years ago. The crew of a fishing trawler witnesses the hull of the Titanic rising from the sea, which sank over 100 years ago at the same location.
