At the beginning of spring, the proud tribe of Amazons celebrates the Flower Festival every year, a solemn ceremony of life and fertility that is essential for their offspring. As every year, the warrior women abduct a few dozen men to conceive the next generation of the tribe. Only Penthesilea, the young queen of the Amazons, once again finds no man worthy of her. However, not far away lies the city of Troy, where a war has erupted over the Greek princess Helen. And a warrior favored by the gods named Achilles captures Penthesilea's attention.
