Jonathan Harker must travel to Transylvania on business. He is a guest at Count Dracula's castle and is warmly welcomed. However, Jonathan soon realizes that something is not right. There is something strange about Dracula. Why does he sleep in a coffin during the day? And what does Dracula do at night when he sleeps during the day? Jonathan wants to escape the castle, but all the doors are locked. What is going on here? Who is Dracula? A tall man opens the door. He is wearing a black cloak. "I am Count Dracula," he says, extending his hand. I shake it. The hand is cold, icy cold, like the hand of a dead person. A shiver runs through me. What kind of person is this?, I think to myself. Dracula smiles at me and says kindly, "Welcome. Please come in." I return his smile. Dracula is one of the most famous horror novels in the world.
