Product details
The book "Space Vector Modulation of Multi-Level Converters and Application" offers a comprehensive analysis of 3-, 4-, and 5-level diode-clamped converters based on space vector pulse width modulation technology. This modulation technique is considered the most efficient and is often applied digitally. The content of the book includes a comparison of this technique with another controlled modulation method based on multi-carrier/sine pulse width modulation with an injected third-order harmonic signal. Additionally, it covers the step-by-step development of MATLAB/SIMULINK models for the mentioned modulation methods, including the analysis of inverter waveforms and their spectral results. The book also contains MATLAB simulation results obtained from the direct application of a 3-level voltage source inverter to a 10HP, 400 Volt, 50Hz induction motor drive. Furthermore, a small laboratory experiment is presented to verify the simulation results.
