Sozialpädagogik in Lernfeldern consists of two volumes with a total of eight learning fields and is suitable as a textbook for the vocational school for social assistance and for similar training programmes that enable further qualification as an educator or curative education nurse. Basic Knowledge Volume 1 covers learning fields 1 to 4 and provides action-orientated basic knowledge on the topics: Socio-educational facilities and services for children and young people; job profile of social assistance; anthropological and developmental psychological foundations of education; teamwork and group work; educational partnership with parents; health education; behavioural observation; services for people with special support and assistance needs.
