Soziales Kompetenztraining für Patienten mit erworbener Hirnschädigung

This behavioral therapy group program has been specifically developed for patients who exhibit social and/or communication behavior disorders following a brain injury. The program consists of several independent training modules, making it suitable for open groups and allowing for a flexible response to the individual issues of the participants. The educational elements of the program cover topics such as "What is social competence?", "Self and other perception", or "Self-control in cases of increased irritability". In the behavioral modules with role-playing, typical problem situations faced by brain-injured patients are addressed, such as "Informing others about the consequences of the illness", "Asking for help", or "Setting boundaries when feeling overwhelmed", and favorable behaviors are practiced through role-playing.
